Sin and its Effect

Sin is indeed a reproach proverb 14:34…

when God create the world and he said: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule (have dominion over) the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl g on the earth.” Genesis 1:26 CSB.

 Man lost his place of DOMINION the day sin came in to the world in Genesis 3.

There’s one thing I know sin to be and the devil “he’s cunning” and “sin is deceptive”. Sin looks attractive and the devil will always open your eyes to see the good of the sin and make it look delicious, delightful…

My mum always says, “he (the devil) will entice you with things that will make you see reasons to sin and when he knows that the level you have gotten to, if let you see it even though you know you are helpless then he’ll leave you”. There’s a saying in my Language (Igede) “opiri-piri ka-ka ro’hwue’he, ka y’ila kporu’lang” “translate” taken you to the middle of a lone bush and set the bush on fire round about.

There’s a story that we were told when we were small of an animal called rabbit. Rabbit loves fried reddish portage things a lot and so if a hunter wants to kill it, he’ll prepare a reddish portage and keep it in the path of the rabbit, and will gun it down as soon as it come to eat of it that is craftiness of the devil. He will entice you with his cunningness and make you always see the reason to sin and perpetually living therein.

devil make sin enticing, delightful, easy - to - do, but tragically the devil will never tell you the repercautions that follow afterwards 

What are the possible thing sin can do to a man?

1. ·         Sin makes a man cripple
2. ·         Sin brings death Romans 6:23
3. ·         Sin takes away the glory of God Romans 3:23
4. ·         Sin makes a man handicap
5. ·         Sin makes you though you have something meaningful to say yet it will be regard as anything among your brethren, community and nation at large Nehemiah 5:9 CSB …you walk in the fear of our God and not invite the reproach of our foreign enemies?
6. ·         Sin makes a man a nonentity
7. ·         Sin makes a man lose focus
8. ·         Sin makes a man wallow in pain
9. ·         Sin makes live in object poverty
10. ·         Sin brings about shame and disgrace
11. ·         Sin makes a man toil in vain without anything for show for

How then can I return my original place of DOMINION?

• a.       Confess you sins and ask for forgiveness from both man and God Isa 1:18 psalm 51.
• b.       Pursue that which is good in the sight of God
• c.       Avoid the company of sinners’ psalm 1:1
• d.       Soak yourself in the word of God psalm 1:2

Thank be to God almighty who gave us a means of escape from eternal damnation through the death of the Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,

Salvation corner: LORD Jesus I come before for transformation and renewing of my mind. I want to follow and nothing can stand as a barrier on my path I denounce evil and I proclaim the reign of Jesus in my life, delete my name from the book of eternal death and write my name in the eternal book of life I pray in Jesus’ name.
